Lois Helen Leonard Rawson
January 18, 1944 - January 26, 2023
Lois Rawson passed away on January 26, 2023 in a local hospital surrounded by her loving family due to medical complications.
Lois was born to Doris Leonard and Everett Leonard on January 18, 1944 in Great Falls, Montana. Lois was the second child to six other siblings. Lester Leonard, Larry "Moe" Leonard, Linda Leonard, Marcia Leonard, Nancy Leonard and Micheal Leonard.
Lois was raised in Butte, Montana where she attended local schools.
Lois met Frank Rawson and was married in October of 1963. Lois gave birth to Leonard, Hollie and Mollie. From the early 1970's Lois and Frank lived in Walkerville next to the ice-skating rink. After their three children all moved away Lois and Frank relocated below Timber Butte.
Lois was mostly a stay-at-home Mom with some odd jobs that kept her busy from time to time. She took a Photo class at Montana Tech as she loved taking pictures of friends and family. She also cherished her time with the grand kids throughout the years. Lis also loved camping, all spring, summer and fall if she could.
Lois is preceded in death by her mother, Doris Wilson; father, Everett Leonard; stepfather, Melvin Wilson; brothers: Lester and Micheal Leonard; sisters: Linda, Marcia, Nancy. Lois is survived by her husband, Frank Rawson; brother, Larry Leonard, children: Leonard, Hollie and Mollie; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Lois's celebration of life will be February 3, 2023 starting with visitation at 10:00a.m. and funeral service to follow at 11 o'clock in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The reception will also be at the LDS Church following the funeral services, 1351 Mt. Highland Dr., Butte, MT 59701. Express condolences at www.wayrynen-richards.com.
