Lois Richards Obituary

Published by Legacy on Nov. 15, 2025.
Lois was reunited with her husband Jack at the age of 99, after a life well lived. Lois passed away peacefully at Harwood Place surrounded by her family on November 13, 2025.
Lois was born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania on April 25, 1926. She was the middle daughter of Duke and Mildred Hamilton. Her sisters Doris and Janey predeceased her.

Lois met Jack during WWII while he was stationed in Mechanicsburg, PA, where Lois was working. They married in 1947 and lived in the Milwaukee area their entire lives.

Lois is survived by her daughters Nancy (Marshall) Hanley of Sarasota, FL and Julie (Greg) Hoesly of Elm Grove, WI. She adored her grandchildren: John (Jayme) Hanley, Julie Hanley, Caroline (Kenny) DeBauche, Tim (Katie) Hoesly, and Becca (Louie) Zorn.

Although she couldn't keep them all straight, she loved her 12 great-grandchildren: Annie DeBauche, Charlie DeBauche, Natalie Hoesly, Margaret DeBauche, Alexandra Hanley, Paige Hanley, Louise DeBauche, George Hoesly, Abby Zorn, Taylor Hanley and Penelope Zorn.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
