Lois was born in Berlin, Pennsylvania, and spent years in Frostburg, Maryland continuing to raise her family before moving to Bridgewater in 1971. She was a homemaker, secretary, and worked for a psychologist. Lois was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with WELCA, 60 Plussers and other groups over the years. She enjoyed sewing, sparkly clothes and jewelry, crossword puzzles, old TV mystery and game shows, but especially loved spending time with grandchildren and babysitting them at a moment's notice. Lois will be sadly missed by all.
She is predeceased by her husband Donald B. Ringler who died in 2009 and siblings Kenneth Robertson, Regina Robertson, Donna Deaner, and Michael Robertson.
Surviving is her son Darrell Ringler, daughter Lisa and son in law Bruce Schafhauser, a sister Janis Jackson, three grandchildren John, Daniel, and Nicholas Schafhauser, and three great grandchildren Benjamin, Lizzy, and Jesse Schafhauser.
Memorial Services will be 11:30am Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Somerville. Arrangements by Bruce C VanArsdale Funeral Home, 111 N. Gaston Ave. Somerville.
