Lois W. Smith

Lois W. Smith, 69, unexpectedly went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 27, 2026 of natural causes. Born on April 22, 1956 in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clair and Ruth (Brenneman) White.

Lois leaves behind her beloved son Andrew and wife Michelle, of Conestoga, her two precious grandchildren Colin (Emily) and Jenna (Ashlyn) Rohrer, and two great granddaughters, her siblings, Ruthie (Magdy) Mikhail of Wilmington, DE, Martha (Dale) Hershey of Ronks, Daniel (Sarah) White of Lancaster, and John (Marcia) White of Ephrata, as well as nieces and nephews.

Lois was a member of Living Light Mennonite Church. She had a heart for children and a passion for sharing God's Word. Lois taught children's Sunday school for over 30 years and always had an encouraging word to leave with everyone she met. She graduated from Penn Manor High School and was self-employed cleaning homes. She enjoyed reading and spending time with family and friends.

A celebration of Lois' life will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 11:00AM at Living Light Mennonite Church, 2625 Safe Harbor Road, Washington Boro, PA. Friends may visit with family from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Kindly omit flowers.
