LOIS CANDUS TUGGLE-MATHIS

Lois Candus Tuggle-Mathis, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 29th, 2026, in Rex, Georgia. She was born on Saturday, May 31st, 1941, in the quaint town of Madison, Georgia, leaving behind a legacy filled with love, kindness, and enduring strength.

Lois dedicated many years of her life working diligently on the assembly line at Kebbler, where her precision and dedication were admired by her colleagues. Her commitment to her work was paralleled only by her devotion to her family and those she held dear.

Lois was preceded in death by her father, Henry Tuggle, whose memory she cherished and spoke of fondly throughout her lifetime. Her love for life's simple pleasures, such as her favorite snacks, Snickers and Almond Joys, often brought a smile to her face and reminded those around her of the joy that can be found in everyday moments.

Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate Lois's life during a visitation on Thursday, February 5th, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Gregory B. Levett and Son Funeral Home - Flat Shoals Location in Decatur, Georgia. A Celebration of Life service will follow on Friday, February 6th, 2026, at 11:00 am at Now Faith Apostolic in Rex, GA, where her spirit and faith will be honored and remembered.

Following the service, Lois will be laid to rest at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Forest Park, GA, at 1:00 pm, where she will eternally rest in peace among the Georgia landscapes she loved.

Lois Candus Tuggle-Mathis's life was one of grace and warmth, and she will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
