Lolabeth Locastro Obituary

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Lolabeth Locastro, who left this world peacefully on September 25, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 57 years old.

Lolabeth was the heart of her family, steadfast, selfless, and endlessly giving. Her love knew no limits, and her presence was a constant source of comfort, laughter, and warmth. To her children, she was their greatest cheerleader, their guiding light, and their safe place. To her spouse, she was not only a partner but also a best friend and true soulmate. To her friends, she was a confidant, a source of wisdom, and the one who could brighten even the darkest days.

Born on February 21, 1968, in Cleveland, Mississippi, Lolabeth lived a life rooted in kindness, faith, and devotion to her family. Her spirit was gentle yet strong, and her love was a gift that will continue to shape the lives of all who were blessed to know her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Kevin Locastro; her cherished children, Mary Ruth Dawson and Christian Locastro; and her sister, Paula Dakin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Ruth Mitchell, and her brother, Charles Mitchell.

Lolabeth's absence leaves an immeasurable void, but her love, values, and memory will endure. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace and watching over them with the same boundless love she shared in life.

The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at Methodist University Hospital for their exceptional care and support. In place of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her honor.

Lolabeth was dearly loved, and she will be dearly missed. Though she has departed this world, the love she gave will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew her, and her singing will continue to grace the angels in heaven.

A celebration of her life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on September 29 at St. Louis Catholic Church, 203 S. White Station Rd., where family and friends will gather to honor and remember her.
