Lon Bedwell Obituary

Lon Phillip Bedwell, 72, of Houston, Texas, passed away on September 7, 2025. He was born on April 20, 1953, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Virgil and Marlene Bedwell.
Lon graduated from Chatsworth High School in 1971 and proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps. After his service, he made Houston his home.
A devoted Christian, Lon's life was a reflection of his deep faith in God, his commitment to his church community, and his love for his country. He will be remembered for his steadfast character, generous heart, and quiet strength.
He is survived by his son, Jason Bedwell, his mother, Marlene Bedwell, and his three sisters, Julie Perkins, Rebecca Besier, and Jennifer Duke.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery to honor and celebrate Lon's life, his faith, and his service to his country. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Lon, please visit our floral store.
