Lona Perry Obituary
Lona Jearlene Perry, age 77 years, of the Beulah Heights Community died Sunday, October 19, 2025 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
She was born in Beulah Heights, Kentucky on May 30, 1948 the daughter of the late Zeb and Dessie (Sumner) Perry. Jearl had worked as Quality Control and was a member of the Roberts Chapel Church. Playing games on the computer and reading her Bible were her favorite past times.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, George Perry, Junior Perry, Ezra Perry, Willard Perry, and 3 infant brothers; and sisters, Wanda Strunk, Bonnie Webb, Lizzie Perry, and 3 infant sisters.
Survivors include her brother, Dillard Perry (Rhonda) of Whitley City, Kentucky; sister, Winona Hatfield of Whitley City, Kentucky; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Kelvin Young officiating. Buril will follow in the Chrisman Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at the Funeral Home.
