Loni J. Kaufman

Luana “Loni” J. Kaufman, 74, of West Fargo, ND, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND. Loni was born March 14, 1950, in Thief River Falls, MN. She grew up in Motley, MN, where she graduated from Motley High School. Following high school, she made her home in Fargo in 1968. Loni married Wayne Kaufman in 1991 and together they made their home in West Fargo. Over the years, she enjoyed her pets, and most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. 

She is survived by her children, Lyndell Dahl (D. Ramsey, West Fargo, ND); Lorne Hulett (Fargo, ND); grandchildren, Breanna Whisman (Casey, Fargo, ND); Cody Fruehling (Fargo, ND); Gabi Hulett (Fargo, ND); and Nathaniel Hulett (Fargo, ND); and 2 great-grandchildren; her brother, Daryl Boyer; step-children, Jay Kaufman (Moorhead, MN); Gay Lyons (Robert, California); Kelly Kaufman (Aberdeen, SD); Grant Kaufman (Shannon, Arizona); and Joanna Kaufman (Maryland); and 4 step-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m., followed by the memorial service at 1:00 p.m., at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
