Lonnie Smith born December 18, 1968 departed this life on Monday – September 1, 2025 at the Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky being 56-years old. Lonnie was born in Marion County, Indiana the son of the late Chester Arthur Smith and the late Geraldine Stidham Smith. Other than his parents, Lonnie was also preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence Smith and a host of aunts & uncles. Lonnie enjoyed going on hikes and being in nature, fishing, and cherished his time with his children and family.

Lonnie Smith leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: wife, Tena Smith; six children: Arthur Smith, Keith Smith, Barney Lee Smith, Jessica Smith, Marcus Smith, and Lonnie Nicholas Smith; two step-children: Angelia Noel White and Austin Tanner Asher; three brothers, Chester Smith, David Smith, and Leon Smith; sister, Barbara Ann White; also a host of grandchildren and other relatives & friends survive.

Visitation for Lonnie Smith will be held on Sunday - September 7, 2025 at the Altro Church of God in Altro, Kentucky from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. Funeral Services will follow at the Church at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Chris Turner officiating. The Interment will follow in the Campbell-Stidham Cemetery located at Busy, Kentucky.
