Lonnie W. Smith Sr. 82, of Frankfort IL. was born July 7, 1942 in Blytheville, Arkansas and passed away peacefully October 26, 2024 with family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Janice L. Smith (nee Eppenstein), loving father of Lainie (David) Hippleheuser, Beth (John) Ward, Lonnie (Caroline) Smith Jr.; Proud grandfather of Nathaniel Hippleheuser, Eric Hippleheuser, Jonathan Ward, Joshua Smith, and Madelyn Ward; fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 65 Old Frankfort Way Frankfort IL on Friday November 1, 2024 from 3-8pm, Chapel Prayers will be Saturday November 2, 2024 At the funeral home at 11am. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery Evergreen Park, IL.
