Dear friends and family With a heavy and shattered heart, I am excruciatingly sad to announce the passing of this beautiful, spiritual, and lionhearted beastie soul My love, my rock, my anchor, my best friend, my ballast and balance for the last 36 years of my very existence. For those that don't know, Lora has been in a vicious battle with stage-3 progressive cancer since April of 2019. Radical mastectomy, two rounds of radiation, ongoing chemotherapy infusions, countless medications, multiple periods of full hair loss, countless episodes of nausea, etc. And then in May of '23 Lora's cancer progressed to stage-4 metastatic BRAIN cancer requiring two separate rounds of RADIATION treatment. The first treatment being PINPOINT therapy at 3x week for several weeks which didn't seem to do as expected, and the second round being full brain radiation for ten consecutive days straight also having little effect on the target. Lora's condition rapidly declined shortly afterward, and her body could no longer handle further chemotherapy infusions as she had become extremely weak from the treatments themselves and loss of appetite as well.
She has been in home hospice care since early November through her passing and her final days were spent with loving family and friends in the comfort and surroundings of her home her passing was very peaceful
Lora is survived by her loving husband Daniel Jacob, sons Jesse James Jacob, and Justin Dane Jacob, nephews Elliot and River Jacob.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 15250 W. National Ave. New Berlin from 1:00PM until the time of the Memorial Service at 2:00PM.
