Lora Mae "Gram" Sapet

Of North Braddock, age 89, died on Thursday, December 29, 2022.
Beloved wife of the late Emil R. "Zip" Sapet.
Dear mom of David (Doreen) Mospan of Monroeville and Janet (Tiffany) Maloney of North Versailles. Step mother of Toni (Bob) Ungaretti of MD, and Gemma (Mick) Pack of MD.
Treasured grandmother of David, Jeffrey, Dylan, Brittany, Janni, Ryan, Lindsay, and Halley.
Proud great grandmother of 11.
Lora is preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.
Survived by her cherished care givers: Lisa Funyak, Tina Michaels and Danene Sloan and her friends and neighbors: Cookie Novak and Ray Kachman.
Lora is a graduate of Scott High, class of '52. She worked over 30 years as a crossing guard for Woodland Hills School. She also worked as a shoe salesclerk at Craig Shoe Store and JCPenney's. Lora was a member and a volunteer of the Ladies Auxiliary of North Braddock Fire Department Station #1. Lora enjoyed cross stitching and making afghans and quilts. She also enjoyed watching the Steelers and Judge Judy. Lora liked to bowl, sit on her swing, and read. Above all else, she was a loving mother and grandmother and loved to be surrounded by family.
Friends welcome on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. at the Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Avenue at Cable Avenue, East Pittsburgh (412-824-8800) where a Blessing Service will be held at 7 p.m.
