Lora Gale Brasher Stallings age 54, passed away on Tuesday evening, September 16, 2025, at Diversicare of Eupora, Mississippi after an extended illness. Lora was born on October 27, 1970, in Okolona, Mississippi to Dudley Gale Brasher and Linda Dale Ogg Brasher. She was a member of Morgan Chapel Baptist Church in Sturgis, Mississippi and she was a homemaker. Lora is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Scott Stallings of Merrill, Wisconsin; her devoted mother-in-law, Shirley Stallings of Sturgis, Mississippi; one brother, Brian Brasher, and his wife, Heidi of Kasson, Minnesota along with her adoring niece and nephews, Ellie, Gibson and Judah. She is preceded in death by both of her parents and grandparents and a host of aunts and uncles. Lora lived her early childhood in Okolona, Mississippi and later lived in Starkville, Brooksville and Sturgis, Mississippi. She finished her life in Eupora, Mississippi. Lora adored children and, as a child, she spent countless hours pretending to teach school in her bedroom. She loved spending time with her grandparents, especially her beloved Grandaddy Roy Frank. She also loved to spend time driving. She had a lovely singing voice and made lots of music with her family singing around the piano while her mother played and her daddy directed. Although she was a very tough lady, she is remembered most by her kind and "sweet" disposition. Lora also gave great hugs. Newphew Gibson, says that "Aunt 'LoLo' hugs are the best. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Morgan Chapel Baptist Church in Sturgis, Mississippi. The family will receive friends and loved ones for a time of visitation on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 9:00AM until time for services at 10:00AM at Morgan Chapel Baptist Church. Lora's cremains will be interred at Morgan Baptist Church Cemetery following her Memorial Service. Rev. Brandon Powell and Rev. Russell Mord will officiate the services. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is honored to be entrusted with all arrangements.
