Lorelei Hanich Christenson

1953 - 2025

Mrs. Lorelei Christenson, 72, passes at Wenatchee, WA. Lori suffered from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.
She rested in The Lord's arms while sleeping on December 6th, at home with her husband Bob at her side.
She was born on August 10th at 4:17 a.m., 1953, at Doctors Hospital in Seattle.
Lori went to school in Everett from Kindergarten to graduation from Cascade High School in 1971, followed by Scholastic Honor Society at Everett Community College.
Lori was Vice President and Corporate Secretary-Visionary for Everett Mutual Bank. She was president of Soroptimist 1990-91, a loaned executive for United Way, and served on the board of Campfire of Snohomish County. She was voted Woman of the Year by the Port Gardner and Puget Sound Business and Professional Women in October of 1991. She retired from Everett Mutual Bank in 2004, and moved to Indio CA. and Wenatchee WA.
Lori loved to travel and visited Japan and spent three months going coast to coast in Canada and three months in Europe and Greece. She loved to cross stitch and taught herself to play golf and started Mahjong in Wenatchee Senior Center after learning it while in Heritage Palms, Indio CA. She was a devoted Green Bay Packer and Washington Husky fan.
Lori is survived by her husband of 43 years, Bob. She is the Daughter of Ben and Dee Hanich of Mukilteo, sister Larkin Van Horn of Port Hadlock, brother Mark Hanich of Seattle, brother Tad Hanich ( Christy) of Comfort, Texas, an aunt Marilyn Leatherman of Lake Stevens.
She has numerous cousins, and all would gather at Lake Stevens for the 4th of July. A cheery bunch to say the least, who always started the luncheon with song.
Services will be held privately. Think of her and smile! She was wonderful.
