Loren Bevier Obituary
Loren Joseph "JJ" Bevier went on to be with his Lord and Savior on November 15, 2024, surrounded by his family after succumbing to his battle with cancer.
JJ was born in Omak, Washington in 1957 to Rudolph "Rudy" Ludwig Zachman and Lorna Jean Bear. After Rudy passed away in a farming accident when JJ was only 1, his mother married Leo Bevier who adopted JJ. JJ joined the National Guard during his senior year at Tonasket High School, where he served for six years. JJ worked in the construction industry for Tommer Construction and Grant County Public Works, a profession which he thoroughly enjoyed.
JJ's primary love was his family. JJ met the love of his life, Brenda Lea Bevier (Phillips), in Omak, Washington in 1978. JJ and Brenda moved to Ephrata, Washington in 1986, a place which they would call home. JJ's happy place was anywhere his family and loved ones were present. JJ was also a devoted member of the Church of Christ in Ephrata, Washington. JJ's devotion, loyalty, and caring nature left an impact on all those who knew him, whether it be professional interaction or casual times with family and friends around the fire pit or barbecue.
JJ is preceded to heaven by his mother, father, stepfather, brother Johnnie Lee, and sisters Molly Ann, Bernadette and Mary Elizabeth. JJ is survived by his wife of 45 years, Brenda Bevier (Phillips); his two children, Trevor Bevier and Jamie Mullenix (Bevier); his grandchildren, Rip Bevier, Daisy Coleman, Annabelle Coleman, and Josie Mullenix; brother Thomas Fredric "Fred" Bevier; sisters Byrl Lynn Hammons, Teresa Dawn Bibler, Ruth Ann Fenison, and Christina Carol "Chrissy" Bevier, as well as many, many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A short graveside ceremony will be held on November 22, 2024, at 1pm at the Ephrata Cemetery.
