I just learned of Lorenita's death. I had tried to reach her a few times over the past few years and reached her voicemail. Today, I did a Google search and found her obituary.
She was a dear friend--a very positive and upbeat person. She lived a great life, and I miss her. I know she's in a better place.

I was thinking about my friend and was missing her today. I know that she is in a much better place but I still miss and think of her. When I think of her smile, her joyful spirit and her love of life, I can only remember the good times. Thank you God for bringing her into my life.

I realized today as my memories from the Federal Managers Association Conference popped up on Facebook, this amazing and energetic lady. And then was wondering how her fight of such an ugly disease was going and this news is what breaks my heart.
Im hoping you werent in pain and that you continued to breathe life, energy, and sprint into everyone you met until your very last breath. You will forever remain in my heart as an amazing full of life heart.
