Lorenzo Aguilar Jr.

Lorenzo Aguilar, Jr., 78, of Lockhart, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, surrounded by his loving daughter, Rosalinda Aguilar Blessing, and her husband, Wayne Blessing. Lorenzo was born on February 15, 1947, in Lockhart, Texas, to Lorenzo Aguilar, Sr. and Reynalda Aguilar. He was a devoted family man and a hardworking individual who spent much of his life in the restaurant industry. Lorenzo was well known for his infectious laughter and comedic personality, which brought joy to everyone around him. In 1988, Lorenzo married Rosa Lopez, and together they shared 38 years of marriage, building a life centered on love, family, and togetherness. Lorenzo deeply cherished his role as a father and grandfather and took great pride in being actively involved in the lives of his grandchildren. Lorenzo is survived by his sister, Alice Carrisalez; his children, Rosalinda Aguilar Blessing (Wayne), Jose Antonio Aguilar, and Reynalda Aguilar; and his grandchildren, Meagan Longoria, Steven Lorenzo Longoria, Nicholas Ryan Cardenas, Noah Wayne Blessing, Leonard Aguilar, Joe Anthony Aguilar, Michelle Salinas, Christian Salinas, and Juan Salinas, Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Rosa Aguilar; his brothers; and his eldest son, Lorenzo Aguilar III. A viewing and rosary service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at DeLeon Funeral Home, located at 110 Cedar Street, Lockhart, Texas 78644.
