It is with our deepest sorrow that our father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Lorenzo R Lopez Jr., 71, of San Angelo, was called to heaven to be with his wife and youngest son on Thursday, February 8, 2024.
Lorenzo was a pillar of strength, leadership, and joy. He was the type of man who was a firm believer in his convictions. He was a certified Bulter builder, a carpenter, and spent most of his days in construction. Dedicating his life to taking care of his wife and children. Not only was he a hard worker, but he found time to do the things he enjoyed such as bowling. He went on to accomplish several 300 perfect games and a handful of 800 series. And won bowler of the year in San Angelo.
Lorenzo was survived by his son, Albert Garcia Jr. and wife Rose; his daughter, Lori Lopez and husband James W Nelson; his daughter-n-law, Cindy; his grandchildren, Albert L Garcia, III, April Kelim and husband Matt Kelim, Abraham Garcia and wife Amanda Garcia, Adrianna L Garcia, Catherine Arreola and husband Jarrett Westerman, Paul A Reifke and wife Jennifer and Erik Reifke. He was Popo to his 12 great grandchildren, Zachary, Aubrey Ann, Audrina Rose, Abraham, James Albert, Zayden, Celene Ava, Matthew, Aiden, Lliam, Julian "Juju" & Jeremiah; he is also survived by his sisters, Evelyn Robles, Martha Doran-Reyes, Marcy Reyes, Andrea Beltran, Imelda Baez; and his brothers, Adam Reyes, Moses Reyes, Joe Reyes, Israel Reyes, and Valentin Rameriz; several nieces and nephews. Lorenzo was preceded in death by his wife, Lidia Lopez; his son, Lorenzo Lopez III; his parents, Lorenzo Lopez Sr. and Alice Reyes; and beloved brother.
The family would like to extend a thank you to the nurses at Home Preferred Senior Care and to the staff at Fresenius Kidney Care for their loving care.
Public viewing will be from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM with a Prayer Service being at 6:00 PM Monday, February 12, 2024, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Evelyn Robles, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
