Lorenzo Vidalez Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Basham Funeral Care - Bakersfield on Dec. 18, 2025.
In Loving Memory of Lorenzo Vidalez Jr.
May 1, 1969 – December 9, 2025
Lorenzo Vidalez Jr., born May 1, 1969, in El Paso, Texas, entered eternal rest on December 9, 2025, in Bakersfield, California. Lorenzo was the beloved son of Lorenzo Vidalez Sr. and Adelina Vidalez. He was a loving brother to Hector Salvador Garcia and was welcomed into eternity by his mother, Adelina Vidalez, and his brothers Arturo Vidalez (Tudy) and George Vidalez.
Lorenzo was a devoted father to six beautiful daughters and a proud grandfather, lovingly known as "Papa Bear," to seven cherished grandchildren. He was a hardworking man, a protector, and a provider whose life reflected strength, loyalty, humor, and deep love for his family.
In his final days, Lorenzo surrendered his life to Christ. His family finds peace and comfort in the promises of God and the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
"I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me, though he may die, yet shall he live." - John 11:25
"Absent from the body, present with the Lord." - 2 Corinthians 5:8
Lorenzo is survived by his six daughters and their spouses: Ashlee (Leonard) Delarosa, Maria Elena Vidalez, Dora (Bernie) Mata, Cecilia Vidalez, Ysela Vidalez, and Carmela Vidalez.
He is also survived by his seven grandchildren: K-Leeanna Delarosa, Liana Martinez, Lynette Martinez, Johnny Maese, Lorenzo Vidalez, Maya Mata, and Atticus Mata.
Though deeply missed, we trust in God's Word and hold fast to His promise:
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." - Matthew 5:4 "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted." - Psalm 34:18
Lorenzo's legacy of love, faith, and strength will live on through his family until the day we are reunited again in Christ.
