Loretta Townsend Archer

Loretta Townsend Archer, 61, died June 28, 2024 in New Castle, Indiana. She was born on July 11,1962 in Beech Grove, Indiana to Ruth and Earl Townsend. She was a resident of Whiteland, Indiana and graduated from Whiteland High School.
Loretta met her late husband, Thomas Archer, at the Greenwood mall and they eventually united and married in September of 1990. After his passing, she enjoyed thrifting, spending time with family, and going to church at Franklin Pilgrim Holiness Church in Franklin, Indiana.
Loretta was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Archer; father, Earl Townsend; brother, Charles Townsend; grandfather, S. E. Brown; sister-in-law, Connie Townsend.
Survivors include two daughters, Michelle and Brandi Archer; mother, Ruth Townsend; brother, Greg Townsend; grandmother, Ruby Brown; six grandchildren, Kelce, Alexus, Jordyn, Peyton, Brayden, and Bentley; her Jack Russell named Gypsy.
A visitation will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Jessen Funeral Home & Simple Cremation ~ Whiteland Chapel followed by a funeral service at 1:00pm. Loretta will be laid to rest at Nineveh Cemetery in Nineveh, Indiana.
