Loretta Miller Burroughs (age 88) - born December 18, 1936, of Knoxville, TN, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 28, 2025. She was a member of Maryville Church of Christ.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents Claude Miller and Pauline Burkhart Miller.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Halk Burroughs; children, Mark (Lori) Burroughs, Lucinda Burroughs and Amy (Jason) Fisher; grandchildren, Megan (Kevin) Rankin, Lauren (Daniel) Bouch, Abby (Mitch) Naylor, Grant (Anna) Burroughs, Jackson Fisher and Emerson Fisher; great-grandchildren, Lochlyn Rankin, Harrison Rankin, Darcy Bouch, Cordelia Bouch and Lorelai Bouch; sister, Jane Miller Savage; and sisters-in-law Shirley (Raymond) Wilson and Anita (Dwight) Van de Vate.
The family will receive friends at Bridges Funeral Home on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Minister Jeremy Weekly officiating. Family and friends will meet Friday, March 7 at 10:45 AM at Old Salem Cemetery on Wayland Road for an 11:00 AM graveside service.
