Mrs. Retta Holland Carter, age 60, of Scottsville, Kentucky, passed away, Thursday, February 5, 2026, at her residence. Funeral services for Retta Carter are scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at 2 PM, from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Reverend Landy Presley officiating. Interment will follow in The Scott Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at the funeral home on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 5 PM until 9 PM, and on Sunday, from 8 AM until service time at 2 PM.

Family respectfully requests donations be made towards the funeral expense.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jerry "Fuzz" and Wanda Ford Holland; and sister, Linda Sue Holland Andrews.
