Loretta Ann (Schertz) Cioffe, 89, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025. She was born in Warwick, Ohio on July 30, 1936. Loretta worked at Sun Rubber and retired from Quickey Manufacturing where she had many lifelong friendships with her co-workers. She then worked in Home Health Care where she loved taking care of her patients and their families loved the care she gave. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Cioffe; parents, Carl and Lois Schertz; brother, William Schertz; stepsons, Henry and Joseph Cioffe; grandson, Scott Blum and granddaughter, Krissy Bailey. Loretta is survived by her daughters, Marquita and Dale Lesesky and Marcia Blum (Dale); son, Michael and Debbie Massie; daughter-in-law, Shirley Moll. She leaves her granddaughters, Angela (John) Finlay, Lisa Blum, Dusty (Mike) Smith, Danielle Massie, Dawn Massie (Jeff), Joe Cioffe, Karen Trombetta and Kimberly Baccati. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Katie, Ian and Andrew Finlay, Hallee, Kathryn and Tori Smith, Jaxon, Kylynn, Maddie and Colton Massie. She was a beautiful woman with a heart full of love, kindness and generosity. Loretta was a devoted Mother and Grandmother and instilled family, hard work, resilience, kindness and love of God to them. She loved spending time with her loved ones and celebrating all the Holidays together. Loretta's family will receive friends on Friday, September 19, 2025 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton, Ohio 44203. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 11 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 4019 Manchester Road, Akron, Ohio 44319. Fr. Jeremy Merzweiler, Celebrant. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
