Loretta Faye Gluff, 75, passed away on April 11, 2025 in Muncie, Indiana.
Faye was born on February 20, 1950, to the late Randall and Betty Garrett in Byrdstown, Tennessee. The family relocated to Muncie, Indiana where Faye attended Wilson Middle School and later graduated from South Side High School. Faye Married the love of her life, David Gluff, on September 16, 1967.
Prior to retiring, Faye worked for Marsh Grocery Stores. Faye enjoyed gardening and interior design. Faye also loved spending time in Byrdstown, Tennessee with all her friends and family.
Faye was survived by her loving husband of 57 years, David Gluff; her children, David Gluff ll and Angel Upchurch (Aaron), her granddaughters, Shelby Eads (Derek) and Phoebe Dean, and her great-granddaughter, Lexi Gluff. She is also survived by her cousin and best friend, Janet Poore (Dole); dear relatives Donald Mullins, Cindy Linn and Marveline Garrett; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters; Judy and Jane, granddaughter; Trish Gluff and best friend, Beverly White.
Graveside services were held Monday, April 14, 2025 at 12:00 PM from Garrett Cemetery with Bro. Rick Cross officiating. The burial was in Garrett Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Aaron Upchurch, Tim Williamson, Earl Claborn, Doug Gluff and Audie Barber.
The family will receive friends Monday from 10:30 AM until 11:45 AM at Brown Funeral Chapel.
