Loretta Huddy Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Frederick Funeral Home on Apr. 15, 2025.
In loving memory of Loretta Ann Huddy, who graced this world with her warmth and kindness. Born on October 15, 1942, in Edison, New Jersey, she was a beloved daughter of the late Kenneth and Phyllis Huddy. Loretta peacefully departed from us on April 11, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Loretta's family meant everything to her. She was a dear sister to the late Russ Huddy. She was a loving aunt to Dyan (Ron) Geers, Phillip Huddy, Vicki (Iwan Gibby) Wood, and Dave (Marlana) Wood, and was a proud great-aunt to Jessica, Alexis, Gabe, Ben, Noah, Samuel, and Nia, all of whom will forever hold her close in their hearts. Her affectionate nature and kindness touched the hearts of many, and her memory will be forever cherished by her friends and family.
A woman of rich passions, Loretta found joy in singing with her church choir, cross-stitching intricate designs, and quilting beautiful creations. Though she embraced her new home in Cincinnati, Ohio, after moving there in 1965, she remained a Jersey girl at heart, bringing a bit of New Jersey sunshine to those around her.
Loretta will be honored with a memorial visitation at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd. on Monday, April 21, 2025, at 10:30 AM where friends and family are invited to gather and share memories. Following the visitation memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023 Merrifield, VA 22116, reflecting Loretta's compassionate spirit and her dedication to helping others. Loretta Ann Huddy will be deeply missed, but her kindness and love will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
