Loretta Robertson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Fort Cobb Funeral Home - Fort Cobb on Jan. 23, 2026.
Loretta Kay Robertson, age 74, passed away on January 21, 2026, in Norman, Oklahoma.

Loretta was born on August 12, 1951, to Doyle and Inez Embrey. She grew up in Moore, Oklahoma, spent her early adult years in Fort Cobb, later lived in Yukon, and eventually made her home in the Oklahoma City area.

She attended the Oklahoma School for the Deaf, where she lived in the dorms during the week, and remained active in the Oklahoma City Association of the Deaf. Loretta was a faithful member of Southwest Baptist Church of Oklahoma City, where she was involved in church missions and the Deaf Ministry.

Loretta was a devoted mother, grandmother, homemaker, and truly a saint loved by all who knew her. She especially enjoyed church missions, listening to her favorite country artists, and dancing around the living room with her family-moments that brought her great joy and laughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Doyle and Ida Inez Embrey; her brothers, Kenneth Embrey, Henry Embrey, and Raymond Mosley; and her sister, Joyce Embrey.

Loretta is survived by her children, Ron Robertson, Johnny Robertson, Manetta McKinney, and Janetta Gambel; brother, Stanley Embry and sister Pat Embrey; her grandchildren, Kristen Robertson, Dylan Hetherington, Trinity McKinney, Mia Gambel, Jacob Woods, Mason Woods, McKenzie Krueger, Damon McKinney, Sawyer Gambel, Tanner Robertson, Chase Robertson, Taylor Dennis and Reese Robertson; and her great-grandchildren, Natalie Barber, Carson Dennis, Camdon Dennis, and Colton Dennis.

The family will host a come and go reception to be held at Embassy Hotel 2501 Conference Center Drive, Norman OK at 6pm., January 29, 2026.
