Loretta Sprous, age 90, of Poplar Bluff, MO, died Monday, September 1, 2025 surrounded by her loving family in Poplar Bluff, MO. Mrs. Sprous was born September 16, 1934 in Holcomb, MO to the late Edmond H. & Flossie Retta Overall (neé Tennison).

In February of 1952, she married Thomas G. Sprous. He preceded her in death.

She was a dedicated member of Cornerstone Tabernacle Church in Poplar Bluff, MO for the last 20 years. She enjoyed antiques, was an excellent cook, loved spending time with family and especially spending time with all of her grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters: Vickie Kennedy & MaryAnne Nelson, both of Poplar Bluff, MO; five sons: Thomas M. (Karen) Sprous & Jeffrey Thomas (Lisa) Sprous both of Rolla, MO, Larry (Sandy) Sprous of Bonne Terre, MO, Johnny (Barbara) Sprous of Fisk, MO, Ronald Sprous of Broseley, MO; 23 grandchildren; Kathy (Doran) Strouse, Stacey (Jason) Rodewald, Jeremiah (Laura) Sprous, Caleb (Gitsselle) Sprous, Mikki Sprous, Holly Poole, Jared (Brooklyn) Sprous, Timothy Sprous, Amanda Sprous, Ruth Sprous, Tabitha Aho, T.J. Sprous, Jason (Danielle) Sprous, Jessica (Jared) Arnold, Ronnie (Felicia) Sprous, Kristen (Justin) Tune, Amber (Jason) Littles, Tara (Jonathan) Checkett, Jacquelyn (Alex) Grana, Victoria (Daniel) Schenkel, Allison Sprous and Jacob T. Sprous; 36 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Martin Sprous and one grandson, Daniel T. Sprous.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at White-Sanders Funeral Home, Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jared Davis officiating. Burial will be in Shain Memorial Cemetery at Fisk, MO Condolences: www.whitesandersfuneralhome.com
