Something I will always remember about Great Grandma is coming over her house with either Jimmy Swaggart or the news on no matter how many people are over. Something else is all of the family (great uncles, aunts, cousins, a bunch of people) gathered in her iconic house for every easter, mother´s day, father´s day, thanksgiving, and christmas eve. I remember some of these parties from when I was really little and they were always super fun. Playing tag with all of the cousins in her back yard, the 24/7 coffee smell in the kitchen, the squares on the rug that made for an awesome game of hopscotch, looking at all of the pictures on her dining room wall, and best of all the picture of everybody cramming and gathering around Great Grandma and Great Grandpa who are sitting on their famous chairs that no one else dared sit in because it was theirs. I miss them both more than words can describe, but can´t wait to see them both in heaven. Great grandma was a fighter, regardless of how tiny she appeared. I will always miss talking to her and hearing all of the embarrassing stories of my dad and grandpa kids.
