Janet L. Cloonan

Janet L. Cloonan (nee Addis), age 94 of Parma Heights, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Edward F. Cloonan, Sr. for over 60 years; loving mother of the late Edward F. Cloonan, Jr. (Katherine) and Lawrence Cloonan; devoted grandmother of Jennifer, Kevin, Hannah, and Keith (Kelley); great-grandmother of eleven; aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Margaret Addis (nee Taylor) and her siblings, Bob and Elaine.

Janet was a faithful Christian who spent her entire lifetime, playing piano for church services, weddings, and other events. After her husband retired, Janet and Edward became world travelers, presenting the Gospel wherever they went. Their evangelizing took them to many countries around the world. Edward gave his testimony while Janet played the piano. Janet enjoyed reading the Bible, watching Cleveland Indians baseball, eating chocolate, and having her morning coffee and tea at night.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Pleasant Valley Church, 12193 W. Pleasant Valley Rd., Parma, OH 44130.

A funeral service will be held for Janet at 7pm on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 7501 Ridge Rd., Parma, OH 44129. Family will receive friends from 5pm until the time of the service. Private interment at Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg.
