Mary Warzel Obituary

Mary Jane Warzel (née Copshake), age 92, of Strongsville, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026. Mary Jane remained in the comfort of her own home up until her final several days, a place she cherished deeply. In her last moments, she was surrounded by the love and presence of her family at her side.
She will be best remembered for her dedicated career as a Registered Nurse, where her skill and knowledge were evident in the countless lives she touched. She administered care with compassion, and genuine kindness, embodying a spirit of service that extended far beyond her profession. Mary Jane was also known for her love of baking. She lovingly gifted baked goods and was known for generously sharing them with family, friends, and neighbors.
Mary Jane was the beloved wife of 70 years to Ronald J. Warzel; dear mother of Pam Currie (Paul) of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Jeffery (Robin) of Gates Mills, Ohio and the late Suzie Warzel; grandmother of Charlie and sister of Betty Gunselman.
Memorial contributions in Mary Jane's honors are requested to be made to Cleveland State School of Nursing at https://health.csuohio.edu/nursing-school or the Cleveland Sight Center at https://www.clevelandsightcenter.org/
