Lori Bostron Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jul. 30, 2025.
Lori Jean (Miller) Bostron was born on August 23, 1959, to Dave and Alberta (Petersen) Miller at Eben Ezer Hospital in Brush. She was the 4th child to join the family. She enjoyed growing up with her siblings and was also surrounded by loving cousins. It was an idyllic childhood growing up in a small town. Lori was a member of, baptized, and confirmed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Lori graduated from Brush High School and began her career at Equitable Savings and Loan. After a few years there, she moved to Denver, where she worked at Colorado Savings and Loan, moving from there to Total Petroleum and finally to Rosewood Properties.

On July 23, 1996, she married Gaylen Bostron. In time, they made their way back to Brush, where Lori worked as the office manager at Marshfield.

Lori passed away at home after a long, valiant battle with cancer. She is survived by her two sisters, Susan Johnson of Denver, and Carol Walker of Hillrose. She was a special aunt to a multitude of nieces and nephews, as well as grandnieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Ron; and Gaylen.

Her service will be held Saturday, August 9 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, at 10:30 AM.
