On Wednesday, January 25, 2023, Lori Marie Languell Crayton Langston, a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, sister, friend, and teacher, passed away. Born December 31, 1959, in
Lexington, Kentucky, she was sixty-three years old. We are in utter disbelief and completely heartbroken that she is no longer in our realm of touching, but we take comfort in knowing she is now happy and whole, celebrating in Heaven, waiting to see us again.
Lori was preceded in death by her father and mother, Richard and Wilma Languell, as well as her precious sons and daughters that went ahead of her to Heaven due to pregnancy loss. We know they were all waiting for her with open arms, and had everything prepared just the way she would like it.
Lori is survived in death by her adoring husband, Doie 'Paul' Langston of
Cedar Park, TX; sister, Stacy Languell of
Cedar Park, TX; brother, Stephen Languell of
Cedar Park, TX; daughter, Candace and husband Rich Andreucci of
Robinson, TX; sons Samuel Taylor Andrew, Seth Michael Alan, and Caleb Matthew James Crayton of
Cedar Park, TX; daughter Camrynn Crayton of
Cedar Park, TX; their father Morris Crayton of
Fort Worth, TX; two beautiful grandchildren; Payton Andreucci of
Robinson, TX; and Luna Alvarez of
Cedar Park, TX; as well as her extended family, friends, co-workers, and the students she treasured.
Lori was an amazing mother to her children and served as a surrogate mom to many others. She was an incredible teacher and was very passionate about taking care of people, especially her sweet students. She was a rock for all of the students she served, and made a significant difference in every one of their lives.
When Lori wasn't working with her cherished students during the school day at Vista Ridge High School or in the evening serving students who required homebound instruction and tutoring students at Sylvan Learning Center, she loved watching TV shows and movies, going out to eat, and browsing Big Lots for deals with her husband, Paul.
Above all things, her biggest interest, and what was most important to her, was her family. If you knew Lori, you knew how extremely proud she was of the people she loved. She was fully invested in every aspect of her children and grandchildren's lives. She attended every one of their events she could, and beamed with joy the entire time she was there.
Lori never met a stranger. Everyone that knew her was always amazed how strangers could sense that she truly cared and would open up to her like they had known her forever.
Lori was one of a kind and she will be missed dearly by everyone who had the privilege of coming in contact with her.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Lori loved listening to the Radiothon Bobby Bones did every year for this esteemed program, and was a Partner in Hope, donating money when she could.
