Lori Ann McLendon Parker, 55, of Pelahatchie, passed away in her home after a four year battle with pancreatic cancer.
Lori was born in May 15th, 1968, in Hazlehurst, MS, to Eugene Harold McLendon and Geraldine Bagley McLendon. She was the youngest of four children.
Lori was a Claim Service Assistant at State Farm Insurance for around 20 years. Up until November of 2023 she worked as a Loan Document Review/Eceptions Specialist II at Trustmark National Bank for 10 years. She absolutely loved her job.
To know Lori was to love her. She loved with her whole heart. The most important things in her life were family, friends, and the Mississippi State Bulldogs. She had many lights of her life including her husband, her children, and her mom, but the brightest light was her grandson, Keaton. She lived everyday for him. When her children were growing up, she never missed an event, whether it was a sports event with Seth or a rodeo with Kayla, she was always there. She was there number one fan and biggest supporter. When she wasn’t working you would catch her at home watching some sort of sports game or doing something with her heart, Keaton.
Lori is survived by her husband, Waymon Parker, children, Seth Richards (April) of Brandon, Kayla Richards of Branch, Cameron Parker (Christen) of Brandon, her grandson, Keaton Richards of Brandon, her mom, Geraldine of Gallman, her two brothers Chris and Darryl McLendon of Gallman, nieces and nephews, Uncles and Aunts, cousins, and countless friends.
She is proceeded in death by the first man she ever loved, her father, Harold McLendon, her sister, Cherron Carr, and both sets of grandparents.
Pallbearers will be :
Brian Hall,, Seth Richards , Ryan Rogers , Nick McLendon , JR Westbrooks, Christian “Hobo” Guy
Honorary: Keaton Richards , Jadon Carr, Rocky Harrell , Donnie Lee Harrell, Robert King, Aaron Wadsworth, Paul Smith
