Lori is survived by her husband, Dave Petersen; sons, Justin (Jessica) Failla and Jacob Failla; stepchildren, Nicholas Petersen and Jessica Beam; grandchildren, Amelia, Elaina, and Casen; siblings, Sheri (Bob) Shonka, David (Meg) Farris, Kelly Jackson, and Rob Farris. Preceded in death by daughter, Kelli Failla; parents, Loyd and Elaine Farris; grandmother, Erma Reese; brother-in-law, Mark Jackson.

Funeral Service Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 10 a.m. with Visitation one hour prior at The Water's Edge Church, 19600 Harrison St., Gretna, NE. A reception will follow at church. Private burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
