Lori Ann Seaton, age 55, of Oskaloosa, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025, at the Kavanagh Hospice House in Des Moines, Iowa. She was born on March 20, 1970, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the daughter of Robert Bingaman and Linda (Carr) Rozendaal. She attended Oskaloosa High School and graduated with the Class of 1988. She then furthered her education at Indian Hills Community College, earning a certificate in Administration. On September 10, 1990, she was united in marriage to Rodney Seaton. To this union three daughters were born, Logan, McKenzie and Taylor.
Lori worked as a legal secretary for the Credit Bureau Services of Iowa in Oskaloosa as well as several other administrative jobs around the area. She was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan. She loved her many online friends and social media groups. Lori also enjoyed 80's music, specifically Motley Crue, watching movies and keeping up with her T.V. shows. Her real joy in life was spending time with her daughters and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Logan (Joshua) Jordan, McKenzie (Jordan) Bahl and Taylor (Mason) Walter; her grandchildren, Phoenix and Marceline Jordan, Delilah Bahl and another granddaughter on the way, Drew Bahl. She is also survived by her mother, Linda Rozendaal.
Lori was preceded in death by her father, Robert Bingaman and her ex-husband, Rodney Seaton.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Bates Funeral Chapel with Lori's family present to greet relatives and guests. As was her wish, Lori's body will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Lori's daughters in her honor.
