Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Lorraine “Lorie” Stanley Strickland, age 61, of 2776 Hockaday Rd. Four Oaks, NC, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at the UNC Johnston Hospital in Smithfield, NC surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Lees Chapel Advent Christian Church in Four Oaks. Rev. Rodney Raby will officiate. Burial will follow in Lees Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Strickland was born on January 10, 1962 in Wake County, NC to the late Y.B. Stanley and Pat Whittington Stanley. Mrs. Strickland was a nurse of 41 years. Lorie loved to go camping and traveling with her family. Lorie loved her family as well as her fur babies.
Surviving include her husband, Donnie Strickland; daughters. Kelsey S. Norris and husband, Jason and Kayla S. Brown and husband, Steven; brother, Chris Stanley and wife, Kathy; uncle, Larry Whittington and wife, Judith; step-daughter, Leanavia Hobby and husband, Ricky; step-grandchildren, Jesse Hobby, Cheyenne Norris, Cierra Norris and Alexus Norris; nieces, Kristie Adams and Jessica Weaver and husband, Miles.
The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks on Friday, March 24 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
