Lorin Lee Wardrip, age 69, sadly left us on October 16, 2024. Lorin was born August 19, 1955 in St. Charles, SD. His parents, Delmer and Norma Wardrip, then moved with him and his sister, Kathy, to New Mexico in the early 1960's.
Aside from growing up in New Mexico and in Arkansas, later in his life Lorin lived in Grants, NM and then settled in Albuquerque, NM. For many years he worked in construction and remodeling with his father, Delmer.
Lorin's parents preceded him in death, as well as, his beloved wife, Kimberly.
Lorin is survived by his dear sister Kathy Welborn and her husband, Sammy, of Rogers, AR, his nephew Sammy Welborn of AR, and niece, Jennifer Welborn of NH, a son by marriage, Jason Cox and grandson, Austin. Extended family acknowledged as, Ricky Wardrip and Rocky Wardrip of AZ, Wade Wardrip of OK, and Arp siblings, Erlynn, Bruce, Dustin, and Dana of Grants, NM.
He will be missed immensely by all family and friends!
Services will be Held: Thursday, November 14, 2024 To Begin: Graveside Service - 11:00 am Services will be held at: Santa Fe National Cemetery Located at: 501 N. Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 875013113 Carlisle Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110
Memories and condolences can be left on the obituary at the funeral home website.
