Lorraine Allcut Obituary
Age 97, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022 at CarePartners of Winneconne, WI. She was born October 12, 1924 in Wyeville, WI, to the late Myron and Signora (Severson) Gibbs. Lorraine was a graduate of Tomah High School. She relocated to Joliet after marrying her husband, Forest Allcut Jr. who was stationed at Camp McCoy in Tomah, WI, returning to Joliet after his service. She was formerly employed by Al Baskin in Joliet for many years and in 1988, after her and Forest both retired they returned back to her home state of WI.
Lorraine is survived by her children, Gregory (Elaine) Allcut, Jeffrey Allcut, Jonene Bowen and Jill Morin; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
As it was Lorraine's request, cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will be held privately by the family at Elmhurst Cemetery, Joliet, IL. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 W. Route 6 (at Deerpath Drive) Morris.
