Lorraine M. Arcuri

Cumberland, Rhode Island - Lorraine M. (Frappier) Arcuri, peacefully passed away on June 1, 2025, in Norfolk, VA. Born on September 3, 1942, Lorraine lived a full and beautiful life, reaching the age of 82.
Lorraine was raised to the late Laurier and Lea (Pontbriand) Frappier, who instilled in her the values of hard work and dedication. She carried these principles into her career at Swiss Line Precision, where she contributed her skills to the Deburring Department with diligence and care. After retirement, Lorraine was an avid player of Mahjong, Scrabble, lover of Crocheting, Reading, and Cooking. Her favorite season was fall and she loved to travel north to see the foliage. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, and she was always ready to give a plate of homemade cookies. Lorraine was well known in her community and spoken of highly, she was kind and thoughtful to all who knew her. Her home was always open to friends and family.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Lorraine was a devoted wife to her late husband, Raymond J. Arcuri, and a loving mother to her daughters, Barbara J. Hennings (Randy) of Vancouver, WA and Kathleen E. Ellis (Michael) of Norfolk, VA; grandchildren Jonathan Ellis (Rachel), Nathan Sotir, Christine Mazarakis (Michael), Josiah Morales (Kendall), and Mark Morales; great-grandchildren Bennett Ellis and Sawyer Ellis. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Lucille Hunt and Claire Choinere. Her family and friends, who survive her, remember her as a beacon of kindness and support.
Though Lorraine's journey took her to Norfolk, VA where she passed, she was a lifelong resident of Cumberland, Rhode Island. Where her heart always remained and where she spent many cherished years.
Cremation & Funeral Services of Tidewater have respectfully assisted with Lorraine's cremation. She will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland, RI, with the arrangements handled by O'Neill Funeral Home.
