Lorraine P. Balboni

Lorraine P. (Pizzano) Balboni, age 88, beloved wife of the late Albert A. Balboni died Saturday, July 26, at the Life Care Center of Merrimack Valley surrounded by her family.

She was born in Boston, August 21, 1936 to the late Alfred and Carmela (Picariello) Pizzano and was raised in Revere before moving to Billerica in 1971.

Lorraine worked at the former Purity Supreme in N. Billerica before beginning a career as a clerk at the Board of Registration with the Town of Billerica.

She is survived by sons, Albert A. Balboni and wife Janet of Houston, TX and Ronald A. Balboni of Tewksbury; and daughter, Diane M. Balboni and husband Randy Allen of Hudson, NH; siblings, Alfred Pizzano of Revere and Janice Service of Saugus; as well as grandchildren, Jessica, Amanda, Michael, Joshua, and Michael; three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Thursday, July 31, at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4 – 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 1, at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd. Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial will be in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org
