Lorraine Batavia, 86, of Bethlehem passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025. Born on December 7, 1938 in Paterson, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Anna (Fanella) and Joseph Galese.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Susan Gonzalez and her husband, Robert; son, Raymond Batavia; grandchildren, Rob Gonzalez and his partner, Jessica Pulido, Becca and her husband, Miguel Rivera, Kate and her husband, Andrew Redding, Maddie Gonzalez, Jessica Batavia and Joseph Batavia and great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Mateo, Melina and Cecilia. Lorraine was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Galese and sister, Beatrice Gauger.
A viewing will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025 from 10-11 a.m. at St. Ursula Roman Catholic Parish, 1300 Broadway Fountain Hill, PA 18015. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. in the Church. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sights For Hope, 845 W. Wyoming St. Allentown, PA 18103.
