Lorraine Gloria Bebey

Lorraine Gloria (nee Puchalsky) Bebey, of Levittown, PA, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025, at the age of 87. She was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA to the late Edward and Anna Pulchalsky. Lorraine, a twin with nine siblings was raised, graduated as her high school valedictorian and married her loving husband John in Swoyerville, PA. The young couple subsequently settled in Levittown, PA, where she was a member of Queen of the Universe Catholic Parish for 63 years. Lorraine joyfully worked at home to raise her four children and was employed as an Operator at Bell Telephone and as a companion providing compassion and care to residents at Pennswood Village in Newtown, PA. She had a gift for cooking and thoroughly enjoyed preparing delicious dishes originating from her Polish heritage and graciously shared her recipes and cooking methods. Lorraine enjoyed visiting her siblings' families in PA, CT and NJ and her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren in CO, FL, NJ and PA, along with spending time with her numerous friends in the community. Lorraine (Mrs. B) will always be remembered for her compassion, sense of humor, quick wit, her beautiful smile, and the twinkle in her eyes.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Bebey, Lorraine is survived by her children, Colleen Reitz, Joseph (Julie) Bebey, James (Cheryl) Bebey and Sharon Bebey-Milstead, her grandchildren, Jason, Krista, Jennifer, Leah, Jonathan and James Jr., and her great grandchildren, Jedd, Mac, Ryan and Camille. She is also survived by her siblings, Thelma Evanko and Lawrence (Barbara) Puchalsky and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to Lorraine's Life Celebration on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 10 AM – 11 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11 AM, at the Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, 2442 Trenton Rd., Levittown, PA 19056. Services provided by Beck-Givnish Life Celebration Home, 7400 New Falls Rd., Levittown, PA 19055.
