Lorraine V. Bisson, 94, of Berlin, passed away on Friday October 4, 2024 at the Coos County Nursing Home. She was born in Berlin on September 29, 1930 the daughter of John and Annette (Chenard) Villeneuve and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Berlin High School and had been employed by the Androscoggin Valley Hospital as a receptionist. Lorraine was a member of Good Shepherd Parish.
Family includes her sons Gary R. Bisson and wife Susan of Berlin, NH, Danny Bisson and wife Sheila of Errol, NH and Jimmy Bisson and wife Peggy of Milan, NH; 7 grandchildren: Tim and wife Shannon, Nathan and wife Heather, Jason, Brandon, Dylan, Tommy and Mark; 3 great grandchildren: Makayla, Jada and Emma; 2 great-great grandchildren: Amory and Axten; brother Pete Villeneuve and wife Joann of Errol, NH; brother-in-law Donald Bisson of Berlin, NH and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Rene R. Bisson on April 5, 2015.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 10am at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, 345 Pleasant St., Berlin, NH. Interment will be in the St. Kieran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Wednesday from 6-8pm. Donations in Lorraine’s memory may be made to a cancer foundation or society of one’s choice or to the Coos County Nursing Home Activities Fund, PO Box 416, Berlin, NH 03570.
