Lorraine DeCarlis, 73, passed away on September 28 2022 joining her parents, Albert and Rose (Gizzi) DeCarlis.
She is survived by many cousins and friends
What does one say about a life that touched so many? There were roles she did not have and of which she spoke: sibling, wife, mother. But she was daughter, friend, cousin, God mother, confidant, role model, co-worker, roommate, and "honey-girl" to her acquired family at The Maplewood in Webster NY. Lori's family thanks the Maplewood staff who ensured she knew she was safe, loved, and never alone. She also was sister-of-the-heart to her cousin, Janet.
Many people were special in her life over the years, and with special love for Gus and Sofi, Stephanie, Walter, Philip, Eric and Judy. There were also new friends though too many from the Maplewood to mention by name at the of risk of forgetting someone. But you know who you are and what special memories you created with and for, Lori. That you brought her friendship and laughs is priceless. We thank you.
There will be a gathering in her memory at New Comer Funeral and Cremation, 6 Empire Blvd Rochester NY on Wednesday October 5 from 9:30 – 11:15 AM. A prayer service will be held at 11:15, with a luncheon to follow.
At Lorriane's, and her families request, please do not send flowers. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CurePSP.org (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy) or to Lollypop Farm. A Catholic mass will be held at a future date.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
