Born: February 21, 1936 in Chicago, IL
Died: September 24, 2025 in Naperville, IL
Lorraine Ann Dobrolinsky (nee Toppa), 89, of Naperville and formerly of Huntley, passed away on September 24, 2025, at St. Patrick's Residence in Naperville. She was born on February 21, 1936, in Chicago, IL. Beloved wife of the late Walter Dobrolinsky. Cherished mother of the late Darryl Dobrolinsky, Keith (Lisa) Dobrolinsky, and Dean Dobrolinsky. Loving grandmother of Lauren Dobrolinsky (Tyler Allen), Megan Dobrolinsky, Darian Dobrolinsky, Riley Dobrolinsky, and Hannah Lattanzio. Proud daughter of the late Walter and Rose (Galecki) Toppa and dear sister of Dolores McKay (late Ronald) and the late Laverne (late Charles) Jacobs. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Lorraine served others as a nurse and was last employed by Union Special Corporation. She was a Member of the St. Anthony Alumnae Association, Huntley Springs Founding Resident and Ambassador, past member of the Huntley Lioness and was very active in the Huntley community. She enjoyed time with her family and loved her travels with her husband "Doby." Visitation will be on Friday, October 3rd from 3:30 - 7:30 pm at James A. O'Connor Funeral Home, 11603 E Main St. in Huntley. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am and Lorraine will lie in state from 9:00 - 10:00 am on Saturday, October 4th at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Rd. in Huntley. Burial will follow in Windridge Cemetery in Cary In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be directed to the Sparrow's Nest in Woodstock, or the St. Patrick's Residence in Naperville.
