Lorraine R. Hinds, 97 a lifelong resident of Wakefield died Tuesday October 1, at the Frisbie Hospital in Rochester, NH.
Born in Wakefield, March 12, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Margaret (Malonson) Surette.
Lorraine was a graduate of ST. Joseph School and Wakefield High School. She was a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Lorraine was the beloved wife of the late Albion W. Hinds Jr. She was the loving mother of David Hinds of Tewksbury, Lynne Ward of Somersworth, NH, Dana Hinds of Gilmanton, NH, Diane Paraskeva of Hopkinton, NH, and Andrea Donahue of Dover, NH. She was the sister of Mary Court of New Hampshire and the late William and Robert Surette, and Phyllis Oxford. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday October 8 at 11 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday prior to the service from 9 to 11 a.m.
