Lorraine L Hoffman

Lorraine L. Hoffman, 78, of Dover, NH, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025. Born on August 27, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Yvonne (Roberge) Richard.

Lorraine was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Hoffman and a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Her life was filled with love for her family-especially her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren-and for her beloved cats who were always by her side.

She had a creative spirit and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and sewing, crafting beautiful handmade gifts that will be treasured for generations. Lorraine was also an avid reader, with a particular love for the works of Stephen King.

She is predeceased by her siblings, Paul and Jeannine Richard.

Lorraine is survived by her loving children: Steven (Patricia) Hoffman of East Brunswick, NJ; Dawn (Raymond) Zahn of Milton, NH; and Matthew (Danielle) Hoffman of Dover, NH. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren: Brian Burns, Kathleen Hoffman-Houk, Jennifer Hoffman, Ryan Hoffman, Emily Hoffman, Amy Hoffman, Caydence Snow, Amya Hoffman, and Matthew Hoffman, Jr., and her great-grandchildren: Ayden Burns, Ryleigh Burn, Mayve Burns, Parker Whitham, and Vivien Hoffman-Houk.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Avenue, Dover, NH, followed by a memorial service at 12:30 PM. Burial will take place immediately after at St. Charles Cemetery in Dover.
