Lorraine D Lopez

Our mom was a strong-willed, opinionated woman and mother of five children. Her passion and interests consisted of showing, breeding, training, racing, rescuing, and grooming many purebred dogs; Bulldogs, Cocker Spaniels, German Shepherds, Grey Hounds, Whippets, Boxers, Great Danes, Beau Vies and so many more. Our beloved mother won many trophies, ribbons, and plaques of the beautiful purebreds she would show at various arenas in the San Francisco Bay Area. She was a professional dog groomer for more than 50 years and loved the relationships she formed with so many customers she worked for in Santa Clara, Newman, Crows Landing, and Gustine California. Everywhere she went, people she would meet, she would share her wisdom and knowledge about dogs without hesitation. Throughout her life she displayed in our homes and her shops pictures, figurines, blankets, dishes, statues, mugs, cups, t-shirts and all things that are purebred dogs. She lived her life and loved her family the best way she knew how. She was proud of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and enjoyed being a grandma. She was also unintentionally funny and leaves us all with very fond memories. She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed beyond measure by everyone that knew our mother Lorraine D (Gibbs) Lopez.
