Funeral services for Lorraine Jordan McDaniel, age 70, of Simsboro, LA will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Ruston Church of Christ with Casey Clement officiating the service. Interment will follow in Spillers Cemetery in Downsville, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes in Ruston, LA.

A visitation will be 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, August 25, 2025, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston, LA.

Lorraine was born September 24, 1954, in Monroe, LA and passed away August 22, 2025, in Monroe, LA. She was a member of the Ruston Church of Christ. Lorraine was a huge Saints fan, she loved baking, bird watching, spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, as well as her fur babies. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Jordan and Gertrude Jordan, and sister, Lillian Liner.

She is survived by her children, Tammy Johnson of Ruston, Michee Moss (Walter) of Simsboro, Tommy McDaniel of Simsboro, and Sara McDaniel of Simsboro; grandchildren, C.J. Johnson (Amber) of Calhoun, Lacie Blake (Travis) of Jonesboro, Garrett Moss of Simsboro, Sydney Moss of Simsboro; great grandchildren, Emilee Blake, Jordan Blake, EmmaLeigh Harnar, Gideon Johnson, and Cambree Johnson; brothers, Eddie Jordan (Brenda) of Downsville, Perry Jordan (Joy) of Downsville, Raymond Jordan (Jeanette) of Calhoun, and adopted son, Greg Payne (Marian); special family friend, Robin Shows; sisters in spirit, Lisa Hawkins and Gwen Hinton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. B Weinberger, Lisa Johnson, and the rest of his Amazing Staff.

Pallbearers will be Greg Liner, Tim Liner, Jeff Liner, Greg Payne, C. J. Johnson, Garrett Moss, and Carlos Johnson.
